Bell the CAT

The NMIMS IEEE student branch successfully organised their third event of the trimester – Bell the CAT in grand fashion. There is no denying an event of this kind is bound to be a crowd puller however the overwhelming response received was unprecedented.

There were more than 120 students who sat for the mock CAT which was conducted by renowned CAT coaching institute – CAREER LAUNCHER. There were many more students keen on giving the mock test however seating constraints did not permit so.

Had the event been conducted in a larger hall, registrations would have definitely kissed 200.

The test commenced once the students were given a brief introduction to various MBA entrance tests and the CAT in particular by senior Career Launcher professors.

On completion of the hour and a half long test, the students were given a very informative seminar on online CAT 2009 which was more an interactive session wherein students cleared any apprehensions they had about the CAT going online.
